Hello, I’m Tara.
As a primary school teacher, I have spent years helping children to overcome challenges, build confidence and reach their full potential. More recently, I have given educational support to children excluded from school due to behavioural differences linked to ADHD and autism.
These experiences have shown me something important: many of the difficulties neurodivergent minds face are not a reflection of ability, but of systems not designed to meet their needs.
My understanding of ADHD is also deeply personal. Through the diagnoses of two of my children, I have witnessed first-hand the creativity, intensity and sensitivity that often come with ADHD, alongside the challenges with focus, organisation and emotional regulation.
I have seen how exhausting it can be to keep trying to fit into environments that don’t work for you and the effort involved in masking this. Too often, people are expected to adapt themselves to fit the system, rather than the system adapting to them.
I retrained as an ADHD coach to help others see that ADHD isn’t a flaw, a failure or even a deficit. It’s a different way of thinking and, with the right support, it can be a real source of strength.
My coaching approach is compassionate, collaborative and grounded in real-life experience. I work with families and individuals to help them understand how their minds work, recognise their strengths and develop practical strategies that fit them - not the other way around.
ADHD comes with incredible potential - and I’d like to help you unlock it.

TESTIMONIALS
“Coaching with Tara has helped me understand my ADHD in a way I never had before. For the first time I can recognise my patterns, use small practical steps and actually manage myself rather than feeling constantly overwhelmed.”
“Being diagnosed with ADHD at 51 years of age was very emotional for me. Tara helped me navigate the grief I felt and helped me to understand and manage the emotional dysregulation and RSD that I have had for years. I now understand why and have gained invaluable tools to deal with everyday life. I can highly recommend coaching with Tara to help you make sense of your diagnosis and yourself. ”
“Before working with Tara, I spent years feeling misunderstood and overwhelmed, unsure why life felt so much harder than it seemed to be for everyone else. She has helped me make sense of how my brain actually works and, through her support, I have learned not just how to cope but how to understand and be kind to myself.”
