Hello, I’m Tara.

Over the last 20 years, I have worked as a primary school teacher supporting children to overcome challenges, gain confidence and reach their full potential. This took on a personal slant when two of my children were diagnosed with ADHD.

Experience is a great teacher. I have learned about the creativity, intensity and sensitivity that often come with ADHD as well as the difficulties with focus, organisation and emotional regulation. I now understand the effort it takes to mask the frustration and exhaustion of trying to fit into systems not designed for neurodiverse minds.

I retrained as an ADHD coach to help others see that ADHD isn’t a flaw, a failure or even a deficit. It’s a different way of thinking and, with the right support, it can be a real source of strength.

My coaching approach is compassionate, collaborative and grounded in real-life experience. I work with adults and parents of young adults to:

  • Understand how ADHD affects their thinking, emotions and behaviour

  • Identify strengths and develop practical strategies to manage challenges

  • Build confidence, structure and balance in daily life

ADHD comes with incredible potential - and I’d like to help you unlock it.

TESTIMONIALS

Coaching with Tara has helped me understand my ADHD in a way I never had before. For the first time I can recognise my patterns, use small practical steps and actually manage myself rather than feeling constantly overwhelmed.

Before working with Tara, I spent years feeling misunderstood and overwhelmed, unsure why life felt so much harder than it seemed to be for everyone else. She has helped me make sense of how my brain actually works and, through her support, I have learned not just how to cope but how to understand, and be kind to, myself.
